Privacy Policy – Market Radar

At Theil IT Management, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use the Market Radar app, available via Microsoft AppSource.

1. Data Collection​

Market Radar processes data from your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment strictly as required to deliver its functionality. We do not collect or transmit personal data outside your system unless explicitly stated.

2. Types of Data Processed​

Market Radar may process the following:

  • Customer and vendor base data
  • Metadata required for update and visualization

No sensitive personal data is collected or required to use Market Radar.

3. Data Storage​

All data is stored within your own Business Central environment or Microsoft-hosted infrastructure. Theil IT Management does not store or access your data beyond the scope required for support and updates.

4. Use of Data​

We use your data only to:

  • Deliver and improve Market Radar functionality
  • Provide support upon your request
  • Troubleshoot technical issues

We do not use your data for analytics, marketing, or any third-party purposes.

5. Third-Party Access​

No third-party service providers are used to process or store your data. All data access is limited to your own Microsoft environment.

6. User Responsibility​

You remain responsible for:

  • Ensuring that your use of Market Radar complies with applicable privacy regulations
  • Providing any necessary notices to your users or customers
  • Managing access and roles within your Business Central instance

7. Security​

We follow Microsoft’s recommended best practices for app development and security.

The Market Radar app uses secure HTTPS connections when communicating with external services. Specifically, if a ticker symbol is associated with a customer or vendor, the app may send that ticker symbol to the external marketstack service to retrieve relevant stock market data. No personally identifiable information (PII) or business-sensitive data is transmitted.

We do not store or log any responses from third-party services beyond what is required for real-time use in Business Central. All communications are outbound-only and scoped to the data necessary for the requested lookup.
